![]() The carbonara was delectable & creamy, with fresh basil punctuating every bite, the eggplant parmigiana crisp & flavored perfectly with seasoned parmesan and a perfect marinara & the tagliatelle in a wonderful sauce. Next was the amazing entrees - the fettuccine carbonara, the tagliatelle bolognese, eggplant parmigiana and a phenomenal red snapper filet prepared in a most delicious way though i can’t remember the name of the dish - it was the special catch of the day. We had the good fortune to try a variety of the appetizers, split between the four of us per their recommendation - the artichoke torta, Meze tray, baked oysters & Bib lettuce salad - everything was so delicious, even the salad of cucumbers & tomatoes - the baba ganoush was the best we’ve tasted! Our gracious server Erin, quickly made sure we had drinks & water. in an quaint older Charleston home, with original pine floors and an optional covered outdoor area, we were greeted by the owner, Don, and seated at a nice table upstairs overlooking a street with other historical homes. We had the best meal of our trip to Charleston, and perhaps in all of our travels, at this wonderful restaurant! I’m sorry this is lengthy but i would do this restaurant & it’s chef a disservice to abreviate our experience in any way!
